Sites are a Google service that helps you make websites. You can use the freely available web support to create interactive and dynamic websites with just a few clicks. You don’t need any HTML knowledge!
By standard, Google site uses a WYSIWYG editor with interface also accommodates advanced customers who wish to manually change HTML code.
Google Sites are the service sites, so before you need to open a google account for a free Google accounts before your build the site. Visit the Google Sites website to register a new account.
Once you have logged in, you will see the bare-bones dashboard for your new site. Follow the walkthrough to create a new great-looking site in a couple of minutes.
1. Select a name and address
Click “Create on the Sites dashboard” and then click on “Create new website window”. Enter the name of your website; it will be attached automatically to the URL of your website.
2. Select a theme and template
By standard, Sites does not use a web design for new sites so that you can have full control over your favorite design. You can also base your site on a preexisting web design.
Select one of the detailed popular themes or templates or just choose the 'Browse the gallery for more'. Next, expand 'Select a theme' and pick from one of the best themes you liked.
3. Edit website layout

Sites will now make your new website and you can change and customize it to use the buttons on the top right corner. Click the Gear icon if you want to change the default layouts and go to 'Edit website layout'.
You can enable or disable or you can reposition certain things off your site for example sidebar, according to the theme you have already selected.
4. Create a page
To create a new web page, simply click 'Create page'. Now you will add the name of the page and the design that will be based on your page requirement. You can use the standard Web Page design.
Decide on a hierarchical position for the required page from “Click More”option.
5. Add content
You'll now be taken to the WYSIWYG interface of Sites to add and change new content and article to be published. The interface matches to any text editor.
You can also use menus to change the structure of the website, insert images, tables, add multiple columns, and even you can add a +1 button for visitors to recommend your page.
6. General website managing
To change the pages and contents setting repeat steps four and five. Before you reveal your conception to the world, set and configure some critical components by simply
clicking the Gear key managing the website.
7. Control Access
Click the Gear icon if you want to control access to your website visit the Handle Site option and switch to Permissions and Sharing.
New websites can be viewed by anyone by default. To control access, simply choose the Change… the link under 'Who has access' to limit access either to a specific subscriber or a URL aimed at your website.
Track and revert changes
That is all; you can now invite other friends and customers to see your website. As you change your website over time, you can keep monitor of the changes by clicking the Gear icon and going to Revision History.
